The Seralta

The Chardonnay grown on the estate in Montalfoglio produces a rich, full-bodied wine with a straw-yellow colour, delicate, fruity aromas and notes of ripe exotic fruit, which become more complex with age. The wine is full-bodied, with a fresh and lively acidity and a medium to long finish. The cultivation on clay-limestone soils and the temperature differences between day and night, which are characteristic of the climate in the high hills, give this wine an olfactory expression, which makes its great finesse even more apparent. The low yields per hectare and the one-year maturation in large barrels, with bâtonnage on the fine lees, enrich the body and contribute to the elegance of this great white wine, which can be drunk even many years after the year of production.
